Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Technical Recruiter to support the recruitment of highly skilled IT and technology professionals across a large enterprise IT organization. This role will be responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle for both contract and full-time technical positions, partnering closely with hiring managers and stakeholders to identify, engage, and hire top talent.

The ideal candidate will have experience recruiting for technical roles such as software developers, infrastructure engineers, cybersecurity professionals, cloud specialists, business analysts, and other IT positions. This role requires strong sourcing abilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple requisitions in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for technical and IT-related positions.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs, technical requirements, and desired candidate qualifications.
  • Conduct intake meetings and provide guidance throughout the recruitment process.
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies using LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, networking, referrals, and other recruitment channels.
  • Source, identify, and engage active and passive candidates for technical opportunities.
  • Screen resumes and conduct candidate phone interviews to assess technical qualifications and cultural fit.
  • Present qualified candidates and provide hiring recommendations to hiring managers.
  • Coordinate interviews, collect feedback, and facilitate the selection process.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates and hiring managers throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
  • Maintain accurate candidate records and recruitment activity within Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for critical IT and technology positions.
  • Attend career fairs, networking events, and recruiting initiatives to promote employer branding and attract talent.
  • Provide regular recruitment status updates and pipeline reports to stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational hiring policies and public-sector recruitment requirements.
  • Support workforce planning initiatives by identifying hiring trends, skill gaps, and talent market conditions.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts related to recruiting processes, candidate experience, and sourcing strategies.

Required Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of full-cycle recruiting experience.
  • Experience recruiting for IT, technology, or technical positions.
  • Experience sourcing candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, social media, and professional networks.
  • Strong understanding of technical roles including software development, infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, data, and business systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building abilities.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation practices.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
  • Strong problem-solving and customer-service skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience recruiting within government, public-sector, or enterprise IT environments.
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment reporting tools.
  • Experience recruiting contract and full-time technology professionals.
  • Knowledge of current technology hiring trends and talent market conditions.
  • Experience supporting workforce planning and talent pipeline development initiatives.
