Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to provide administrative, customer service, and data entry support. This position offers a flexible schedule of approximately 7.5 hours per day, with work availability ranging from 3 to 5 days per week based on workload.
The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, excellent customer service abilities, and experience using Microsoft Office applications. This role requires professionalism, accuracy, and the ability to manage multiple administrative tasks in a fast-paced office environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform accurate data entry and maintain records in various systems and databases.
- Answer incoming phone calls and provide professional customer service.
- Return phone calls and respond to email inquiries in a timely manner.
- Process revenue-related transactions and maintain supporting documentation.
- Review and process license applications for completeness and accuracy.
- Maintain electronic and physical records in accordance with office procedures.
- Assist customers and stakeholders with questions regarding applications, processes, and services.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook to prepare reports, correspondence, and records.
- Ensure all administrative tasks are completed accurately and within established timelines.
- Support general office operations and perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in an administrative, clerical, customer service, or office support role.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong data entry skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage workload effectively.
- Dependable, organized, and self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience processing applications, permits, licenses, or related documentation.
- Experience handling revenue processing, payments, or financial transactions.
- Previous government, municipal, or public-sector experience is a plus.
