We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer with strong experience in containerized environments, CI/CD pipeline automation, and application security. The ideal candidate will work within an Agile environment to support the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of scalable, secure applications.

This role requires hands-on expertise with OpenShift, Docker, Jenkins, and modern DevOps tools, along with a solid understanding of SDLC, ITIL, and Agile frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and related tools
• Deploy and manage applications in containerized environments (OpenShift, Docker)
• Collaborate with development teams to support build, release, and deployment processes
• Ensure compliance with application security standards and best practices
• Integrate and manage tools such as SonarQube and Fortify for code quality and security analysis
• Develop and maintain build scripts using Maven and ANT
• Support REST API development and integration
• Administer and optimize Jenkins environments for automated builds and deployments
• Work with MS SQL databases for application support and integration
• Utilize Atlassian tools (Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence) for collaboration and tracking
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and follow SDLC best practices
• Troubleshoot deployment and environment issues across development and production

Required Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience working with SDLC, ITIL, and Agile frameworks
• 5+ years of experience with OpenShift, Docker, and containerized deployments
• 5+ years of experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence)
• 5+ years of experience supporting application security requirements
• 3+ years of experience with:
  • Jenkins administration and CI/CD pipeline implementation
  • Apache Maven and ANT
  • REST API development and integration
  • MS SQL databases
  • Unit testing and static code analysis tools (SonarQube, Fortify)
• Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies

Preferred Qualifications:

• UI/UX design experience
• Experience with Bootstrap framework
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools (Teams, Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint)
• Experience working in public sector (Federal, State, or Local Government) environments
