We are seeking a passionate and experienced ESL Instructor to deliver high-quality English language instruction to frontline team members within a Tyson facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) and/or English for Specific Purposes (ESP) courses, while supporting learners in improving their communication skills in a professional environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver 6–10 instructional hours per week teaching ESL and/or ESP courses

• Develop and prepare instructional materials aligned with course objectives

• Maintain accurate program records, administer assessments, and complete grading

• Attend faculty meetings, trainings, and Upward Academy partner meetings

• Participate in recruitment events and program-related activities

• Provide a supportive and engaging learning environment for adult learners

Required Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of teaching strategies, including grammar, reading, writing, listening, and speaking

• Demonstrated fluency in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field

• TESOL certification

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in adult ESL education

• Experience teaching English for Specific Purposes (ESP) (e.g., Business, Technology, Engineering)

• Strong classroom management and organizational skills

• Proficiency in a second language

• Cross-cultural awareness and sensitivity

• Strong interpersonal and technology skills
