Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Systems Analyst to support the analysis, implementation, and management of enterprise technology solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in business systems analysis, SDLC processes, project coordination, and stakeholder collaboration. This role requires the ability to analyze system requirements, manage project artifacts, and ensure successful delivery of technology solutions aligned with business needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with external vendors and internal teams to complete project deliverables and service requests.

  • Develop and review project artifacts, including requirements documentation, test cases, traceability matrices, and technical specifications.

  • Analyze system issues, troubleshoot problems, and support solution implementation activities.

  • Manage project scope, acceptance criteria, deployment activities, and system integration testing.

  • Support and monitor User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure solutions meet business requirements.

  • Identify potential project risks and challenges, and develop mitigation strategies.

  • Analyze organizational policies, procedures, and standards to determine their impact on automated systems.

  • Collaborate with project stakeholders, technical teams, and business users to ensure successful project delivery.

  • Maintain project documentation and provide regular status updates and reports

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in business systems analysis or IT project analysis roles.

  • Strong experience creating and managing project documentation and SDLC artifacts.

  • Experience coordinating with vendors and cross-functional technical teams.

  • Strong knowledge of system integration, testing processes, and deployment activities.

  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using TFS for requirements and project management.

  • Experience working in Agile or SAFe Agile environments.

  • Experience with Azure cloud solutions and enterprise system integrations.

  • Experience with Texas HHSC processes, Medicaid, or CHIP systems.

  • Experience maintaining state-level project portfolio management tools.
