Job Title: Senior Full Stack Java Developer (Angular / RESTful Services)

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Java Developer with a minimum of 8 years of enterprise-level development experience. This role involves planning, developing, testing, and documenting complex software systems, including user interface features and RESTful web services. A high degree of creativity, independent problem-solving, and technical judgment is expected. You may provide technical guidance to others.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and document Java-based enterprise software applications.

• Perform UI development using Angular and modern responsive frameworks.

• Convert legacy SOAP services into RESTful web services.

• Develop new REST APIs in a JBoss EAP environment.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to evaluate requirements, scope, feasibility, and timelines.

• Participate in requirements analysis, design walkthroughs, and code reviews.

• Develop reusable, scalable, and high-performing software modules.

• Create and maintain technical/design documentation and process models.

• Troubleshoot, fix defects, and improve application performance.

• Support production operations, deployment, and configuration needs.

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and provide technical support during testing.

• Ensure security best practices using JWT, OAuth, and related standards.

• Perform application performance tuning and reliability improvements.

• Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of hands-on experience with:

  • Java/JEE development

  • UI/Front-End development

  • REST/SOAP web services

  • Enterprise JEE application platforms

  • Responsive design

  • Web security standards (JWT, OAuth)

• Advanced proficiency in:

  • Angular & TypeScript (4+ years SPA experience)

  • HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, SASS, JavaScript, JQuery, AJAX

  • Spring, JSP, Struts

  • JSON, XML, Maven, OpenAPI v3

• Experience integrating web services into Angular or React SPAs

• Ability to develop reusable and testable components

• Experience ensuring performance, scalability, and maintainability

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with JBoss or IBM WebSphere Application Server (version 8+)

• Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum preferred)

• Mobile/tablet development experience (2+ years)

Work Environment

• Hybrid schedule: On-site & Telework

• Must currently reside in Texas; relocation candidates will not be considered.
