Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Social Services Applications Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will provide expert consultation, technical solutions, and leadership for Social Services Applications (SSA). You will work closely with cross-functional teams, translating business needs into technical solutions, mentoring staff, and ensuring high-quality system performance in support of social services operations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Mentor and provide consultation and direction to Social Services Applications (SSA) staff, promoting knowledge sharing and best practices.

  • Analyze and interpret technical information, including regulations, policy, and system documentation, to ensure compliance and accuracy in application support.

  • Translate user and business requirements into clear technical instructions and documentation to support system users and technical teams.

  • Plan, coordinate, and manage individual and group work activities to meet project goals and deadlines effectively.

  • Detect, diagnose, and resolve application problems, providing technical solutions and recommendations for improvements.

  • Design technical solutions that address application problems, including system architecture, process flows, and integration strategies.

  • Communicate professionally with a broad range of stakeholders, including business users, technical teams, and management.

  • Prepare clear, concise business requirements documents, technical specifications, system design artifacts, and related documentation to support project delivery and system enhancements.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in Social Services Applications or similar enterprise-level systems.

  • Strong technical and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret regulations and system documentation.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to explain technical concepts in a user-friendly way.

  • Demonstrated experience mentoring or leading technical teams.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and coordinate group activities effectively.

  • Strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on creating practical technical solutions.

  • Experience preparing business requirements and technical specifications in a structured and organized manner.
