The Material Handler is responsible for loading, unloading, and moving materials within or near the plant, yard, or work site. This role requires handling materials manually or utilizing equipment such as hand trucks, electric dollies, wheelbarrows, conveyors, or hand-operated cranes and hoists. The position involves maintaining records, managing tools and equipment, and ensuring cleanliness and organization in the work area. The Material Handler must strictly adhere to all safety protocols, including the use of required personal protective equipment (PPE). Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Shift & Work Schedule:

• Shift: 06:00 AM – 06:00 PM
• Work Schedule: 5 days on, 2 days off rotation
• Some on-call responsibilities
• 100% on-site position
• This role will transition to a full-time employee (FTE) status

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret work instructions and procedures
• Handle chemical transfers in an outdoor environment
• Conduct cycle counting and inventory management
• Operate forklifts and another warehouse equipment
• Perform shipping and receiving tasks
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Ensure compliance with all safety rules and procedures

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience with chemical transfers in outdoor settings
• Strong knowledge of cycle counting and inventory management
• Ability to work in a warehouse/outdoor environment
• Proficiency in forklift operations and shipping/receiving procedures
• Effective communication skills
