Performs Front End/UI application development, enhancement, maintenance, and support for Social Services User Interface applications.

Develops software solutions by studying information needs, conferring with users, and studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes.

As a member of the team, participate in requirements analysis, high-level and detailed design, development, testing and deployment of new application components, as required. 

Analyze UI framework, libraries for configuration & performance tuning opportunities, as required.

Develop, enhance and maintain existing and new web-based J2EE/Portal applications within SOA (Service Oriented Architecture) platform using Agile methodologies.

Create technical and design documentation, as required.

Perform system analysis and problem resolution, as required.

Develop and maintain data and process models, as required.

Employ contemporary testing methods to ensure applications function properly and without error.

Provide technical support for testing and implementation efforts.

Participate in program design, coding and test walk-through meetings to provide input regarding technical standards and customer requirements.

Provide application support (defect repair, maintenance, and production operations support) for web-based Java applications in an SOA platform. Perform system analysis, troubleshooting, diagnosis and problem resolution. Analyze software for defects and performance tuning opportunities. Develop and test application code to resolve defects and improve application reliability and performance.

SALARY RANGE: 120K TO 130K Per Annum

CANDIDATE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Required Skills/Experience

8 years: Hands-on experience in Front End/UI development, enhancing and maintaining enterprise-class applications using Angular and/or similar frameworks on the J2EE application development platform.

8 years: Hands-on experience participating in all phases of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

8 years: Hands-on UI development experience implementing Authentication and Authorization, as well as caching strategies.

8 years: Hands-on programming experience in the following languages and frameworks: HTML5, JavaScript, JQuery, AJAX, CSS3, Bootstrap, SASS, Angular, Typescript, JSON, XML, ES5/ES6, NPM, Maven, and/or other UI frameworks/libraries.

8 years: Demonstrable experience developing, optimizing, and maintaining enterprise-level Front End/UI applications, including complete ownership of the front-end stack (JavaScript/HTML/CSS, Angular, and/or other UI frameworks).

8 years: Experience implementing client-facing applications with responsive design and development.

8 years: Experience implementing Single Page Applications (SPAs) with JavaScript or libraries/frameworks like Angular.

8 years: Experience in the development of self-contained, reusable, and testable modules and components.

8 years: Strong understanding and experience with fundamental programming concepts such as data structures, algorithms, performance optimization, caching, and scalability issues in the context of web-based UI applications.

8 years: Experience developing and testing application user interfaces for ADA/Accessibility Compliance.

8 years: Experience implementing best practices in application design, performance, scalability, and maintainability.

8 years: Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and test creation using frameworks like Karma, Jasmine, or Selenium.

Preferred Skills/Experience

5 years: Hands-on experience with Spring Boot Java applications.

5 years: Hands-on experience with IBM WebSphere Application Server (version 8 or later).

5 years: Hands-on experience with Agile development methodologies, preferably Scrum.

5 years: Hands-on experience with web applications developed for cloud platforms.

5 years: Hands-on experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) methodologies.

5 years: Hands-on development experience for mobile and tablet platforms.
