Job Description
Multi-tasking Administrative help needed for the Bureau of Health Professions Licensure, Multi- Boards. Fast Pace, high volume unit.
- Maintain office operating procedures and assist in developing and coordinating implementation of new ones with the input and approval of the Executive Director.
- Assist the Executive Director and/or Assistant Executive Director in maintenance of all Board meeting minutes; schedules meetings and maintains appropriate electronic meeting/event calendars.
- Answer routine office correspondence relative to board regulations, policies, and licensing laws.
- Update and generate computerized data and correspondence. Operate Microsoft Word, Access, Excel, Mail Merge, and PowerPoint software programs proficiently.
- Maintain files and records such as complaint, correspondence, electronic and telephone responses/inquiries.
- Receive walk-in, written, e-mail and telephone inquiries and answer or refer them to appropriate parties for action.
- Draft letters, memoranda, and reports for review by Executive Director.
- Process license applications and maintain entries in the licensing database.
- Responds to inquiries and provides information to various local, state, and federal agencies and professional organizations as needed.
- Support Executive Director in the coordination and implementation of regulations governing certification and practice for the new Board as assigned.
- Process applications for licensure and other required forms under the direction of the Executive Director for new Boards as assigned.
RATE: $25.14 - $28.14/ hr. On W2
Required Skills:
- Microsoft Office Suite: Proficient in Word, Access, Excel, Mail Merge, and PowerPoint with 24 months of experience.
- Telephone Etiquette: Professional experience in handling inquiries over the phone for 24 months.
- Writing Skills: Skilled in drafting professional correspondence and reports with 24 months of experience.
- Customer Service Skills: Effective in responding to and assisting stakeholders for 24 months.
Desired Skills:
- Analytical Skills: Ability to assess and evaluate data and processes with 24 months of experience.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Experience in identifying and resolving administrative challenges with 24 months of experience.
