Job Description

Implementation and configuration of the infrastructure for the data integration hub

  • Design, development, and implementation (DD&I) of the data integration hub using an agile methodology for all standard SDLC phases that includes, but is not limited to: 
  • Validation of performance metric requirements
  • Creation of Epics/User Stories/Tasks
  • Automation of data acquisition from a variety of data sources
  • Development of complex SQL scripts 
  • Testing – integration, load and stress
  • Deployment / publication internally and externally
  • Operations support and enhancement of the data integration hub

SALARY RANGE: 130K TO 140K Per Annum

As a member of the agile development team, the worker responsibilities may include:

  • Strong overall understanding of Snowflake architecture and its components.
  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake objects such as Databases, Procedures, Tasks, and Streams.
  • Expertise in using Snowflake’s cloning capabilities for databases and schemas.
  • Proven experience in managing Snowflake Warehouses and optimizing performance for efficient query execution.
  • Proficiency in Snowflake RBAC (Role-Based Access Control), including implementation of roles and privileges.
  • Experience with integrating Snowflake SSO (Single Sign-On) and SCIM (System for Cross-domain Identity Management) for secure access and identity management.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control for managing Snowflake code deployments.
  • Experience working with data integration tools like Informatica and ADF for seamless ETL/ELT processes.
  • Ability to automate administrative tasks using Snowflake SQL and scripting languages like Python or Shell scripting.
  • Expertise in monitoring and troubleshooting Snowflake environments, including usage tracking and query profiling.
  • Strong understanding of Snowflake’s security features such as data masking, encryption, and network policies.
  • All other duties as assigned.

CANDIDATE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Required Skills/Experience:

    • 8 years in-depth understanding of Snowflake architecture and components.
    • 8 years hands-on experience with Snowflake objects (Databases, Procedures, Tasks, Streams).
    • 8 years expertise in using Snowflake’s cloning for databases and schemas.
    • 8 years managing Snowflake Warehouses, optimizing for efficient query execution.
    • 8 years proficiency in Snowflake RBAC, including role and privilege implementation.
    • 8 years experience integrating Snowflake SSO and SCIM for secure access and identity management.
    • 8 years familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control for Snowflake code deployments.
    • 8 years working with data integration tools like Informatica and Azure Data Factory (ADF).
    • 8 years ability to automate administrative tasks using Snowflake SQL, Python, or Shell scripting.
    • 8 years expertise in monitoring/troubleshooting Snowflake environments (usage tracking, query profiling).
    • 8 years strong understanding of Snowflake security (data masking, encryption, network policies).
    • 8 years technical writing, diagramming skills, with modeling tools (Visio, Erwin), Microsoft Office Suite, and MS Project.
    • 8 years experience in agile sprint teams.
    • 8 years experience with JIRA software.
    • 8 years managing work across multiple teams, prioritizing, and ensuring timely, high-quality completion.
  • Preferred Skills/Experience:

    • 6 years in writing efficient, testable, well-designed code using best practices.
    • 4 years understanding of security principles, especially for healthcare data.
    • 4 years experience with performance metrics data visualization or business intelligence software.
    • 4 years excellent communication skills (oral and written).
    • 4 years ability to manage multiple responsibilities, prioritize, and adapt quickly.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or equivalent experience.
    • 3 years prior experience in the healthcare industry.
    • 2 years experience with HHS agencies.
    • 2 years experience handling PII or PHI data.
    • 2 years experience working with HL7 data.
    • 2 years experience with Azure.
