This position will perform project management activities for a new Salesforce application, Immunizations Consolidated Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool. This project is to build a consolidated customer support tool that will allow external users to create and monitor service tickets in a single application. This role will be responsible for oversight of the project and its deliverables including status reporting, tracking issues and risk, monitoring the project budget, appropriate escalation to leadership and resolving issues and risks. Excellent teamwork and communication skills are required.

SALARY RANGE: 120K TO 130K Per Annum

The Worker will need to perform the following tasks and assignments:

Overseeing design and development work.

Ensuring project meets the standard guidelines and procedures and developing project artifacts in accordance with Texas Project Delivery Framework.

Managing the project with feature-driven Agile methodology, overseeing, and tracking development progress, and ensuring project assignments and progresses align with project timelines.

Developing and managing project plans.

Documenting risks, issues, and contingency plans; ensuring resolution of issues and removal of project barriers.

Providing weekly status updates (written and verbal) and conducting regular project team status meetings.

Overseeing the development of SDLC artifacts, ensure business requirements get translated into technical specifications, guide, and facilitate the SDLC process.

Developing and maintaining strong relationships with project sponsors and stakeholders.

Possessing strong communication and presentation skills.

Possessing strong teamwork skills.

CANDIDATE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

8 years of required experience:

Project Management for large-scale enterprise implementations.

State of Texas or similar federal/state project management.

Communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills at all organizational levels.

Managing and coordinating business and technical teams.

Strong presentation skills.

Problem-solving skills and multi-tasking abilities.

Knowledge of project management and software development methodologies.

Preferred experience:

5 years with the State of Texas Project Delivery Framework.

3 years with a PMP Certification.

2 years with Salesforce.

1 year with state procurement and contracting.

1 year working with Jira and Project Portfolio Management (PPM) tools.
