As a Utilities Manager, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our refrigeration and boiler systems while working alongside a dedicated team of professionals. Key Responsibilities for the Utilities Manager:
- Budget Preparation and Oversight: Collaborate with the Maintenance Manager to prepare and oversee budgets, ensuring that our resources are optimized for efficiency and success.
- Refrigeration Operations: Take the lead in guiding and directing day-to-day refrigeration maintenance and operations, ensuring that everything runs smoothly and efficiently.
- Team Scheduling: Create work schedules for the refrigeration department, ensuring that our team members are set up for success and that we maintain peak performance.
- Parts Management: Make sure that all necessary parts for maintenance are readily available, so our operations are never interrupted.
- Boiler Maintenance: Oversee the day-to-day operations of our boilers, ensuring that they run smoothly and efficiently.
- Regulatory Compliance: Work closely with the Plant PSM and Area PSM Coordinators to ensure that we meet and maintain compliance with all ammonia agencies, keeping our workplace safe and up to code.
Requirements:
- Education: A high school diploma required
- Experience: A minimum of 7 years of ammonia refrigeration experience is required, with supervisory experience being a plus but Ammonia knowledge is key!
- Computer Skills: Standard computer skills to support your day-to-day tasks.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively coordinate and lead your team.
- Travel: Minimal travel
